Nicole Scherzinger breaks down in tears at X Factor bootcamp during emotional song (FunxSite)
NICOLE Scherzinger broke down in tears at The X Factor boot camp just days after The Sun revealed her boyfriend Lewis Hamilton partied with TEN girls in his hotel suite.
The former Pussycat Doll wept after hearing a contestant called Ella sing Cher’s song Believe at the try-out in Liverpool.
An insider said: “Nicole sobbed so hard the other judges gathered around her and a producer came over to see if she could carry on.
“It was about 20 minutes before she said she was fine and got her make-up artist over to redo her face.
“Obviously, the song lyrics – ‘Do you believe in life after love’ – really moved her, particularly after what happened.”
We revealed Nicole’s fury after Formula 1 driver Lewis partied until 5.30am in his £3,800-a-night London hotel room with girls he met out clubbing.
An onlooker said: “Three make-up artists rushed on to the stage to sort her out as all her make-up had run.
"She was clearly very upset and it’s little wonder as it’s been a torrid few days for her. But she’s a true pro and just got on with things.
"But it’s clear things are very testing for her at the moment.”
As she arrived at the auditions, Nicole looked stunning in a cherry dress which inadvertently got caught by the breeze at one point.
The singer, who was a guest judge on the show in 2010, was confirmed as Kelly Rowland’s replacement last month.
But beneath the smiles for the cameras, she’s said to “absolutely livid” with Lewis, 27.
According to pals the X Factor judge took the racing driver to task over his “disrespectful attitude” to their relationship.
McLaren driver Lewis was pictured early on Wednesday morning surrounded by girls at the Mayfair Hotel after a night at nearby Funky Buddha nightclub.
He hired a £5,000 penthouse apartment suite for an after-party with the sportsman reportedly spraying champagne around the suite before finally calling it a night at 5am
